I first textured the panel by sculpting and carving into an acrylic mixture of marble dust, acrylic and resin which gives the panel a substantial textural surface to paint on. I then added thin layers of acrylic paint allowing multiple colors to visually mingle. To see the texture better you can scroll over the image. It is wired and ready to hang.
