This painting is on a 20x16x1.5 inch cradled wood panel and is part of my 'Shared Vision' series. I first textured the panel by sculpting and carving into an acrylic mixture of marble dust, acrylic and resin which gives the panel a substantial textural surface to paint on. I then added thin layers of acrylic paint allowing multiple colors to visually mingle. To see the texture better you can scroll over the image. The sides are painted black and it is wired and ready to hang.
